AFA Quarterly in 2025 and going forward

Henri Putkonen

As we move into 2025, AFA Quarterly one of the flagship initiatives of AFA and a leading Finnish financial magazine published by an in-house alumni association — will be seeing major improvements. All these developments build directly on the strong foundation laid by earlier AFA Boards.

Technical restructuring moves the magazine on its own site

The most noticeable improvement AFA Quarterly will be seeing is its technical restructuring: the magazine will be accessible online on its own website starting 2025! This technical advancement will bring a myriad of benefits:

  • Improved readability on both desktop and mobile

  • Digital features such as links or videos

  • Analytics on article performance to guide future development

  • Greater reach and deeper engagement with readers

  • Easy access to archived issues going back to 2017

Growing body of supporters contributes to a higher quality

However, the technical advancements are not the only improvement of AFA Quarterly in 2025. Building on the momentum from last year, we continue to raise the bar for content quality across each and every article. Contribution to this initiative is not only fostered by the Editor, but a growing number of people from AFA’s board. Without the help of AFA’s board, these improvements would not have been possible.

Looking ahead

In the later publishments of 2025, the highly regarded Senior Guest -columns will continue. In 2024, by focusing on columnist acquisition, we featured prominent names like Björn Wahlroos. This effort will continue in 2025, and we are excited to announce that we have already confirmed fascinating columnists.

We look forward to what this year brings — and to sharing it with you in each issue. Stay tuned for the upcoming Quarterlies!
